We look up to them, idolize them, and treat them like gods.
Whats so good about these Celebrities? They're rich, beautiful, and they're living a fake life it's as if they aren't real. They can sing and/or act. what's the big deal? People look up to them and we treat them as if they're our God and in all reality a lot of them are jerks and don't do meaningful things with all of their money. People like Bill Gates and Hilary Duff are excellent rolemodels because they give their money and what they do best to other people. they reach out and actually help people unlike someone like Lindsay Lohan. Bill Gates donates money to cancer research and things of that nature. Hilary Duff put on a concert for the mothers and daughters who's husbands/fathers are in Iraq and she's in this Cancer for Kids program which is pretty awesome if you ask me. Now someone like Lindsay Lohan is some spoiled brat that doesnt deserve what she has. so she's putting on a show for the people in Iraq but do you really think she came up with the idea all on her own? I dont think so. but back to what I was saying before, what's the big deal with these famous people? There are so many people out there who are just as wonderful at singing and acting as those people that are getting rich off of it. I think it's over rated. don't get me wrong I love reading about them and watching entertainment tonight and things but it really bursts my bubble haha. this thing on Mel Gibson pretty stupid as well. normal people do this stuff too. big deal. but what really gets me is famous people get noticed for the little things they do when the people in iraq are doing so much more but the individuals are getting nothing. some people care more about whats going on with the celebrities than whats going on with the people fighting for our country.
